July Quests July-August Contest Matches

It's June 30, and you know what that means: Usagi's birthday AND our very first batch of Quests! Are your characters game enough to handle these tasks? (The answer is yes)

If you need a reminder, Quests are prompts for you to depict your senshi in. You do not have to complete all five, so you can pick which ones to work on. In addition, Quests may be completed using any medium, from art to comics to writing to animation. (But we'd love to see comics most!) You can read more about Quests, including Crystal counts, in this journal.

Remember that you cannot submit Quests of any sort unless you already have a character or team in the References folder, so get to work on your References if you haven’t finished!

All completed Quests must be submitted to the July Quests folder by July 25th, 2013, midnight PST. Late Quests will be redirected to the General Submissions folder and count for less Crystals, so make sure to submit on time!

(Future Quests will be posted on the first of each month and end on the 26th, starting in August.)

Your senshi decides to explore the Village. What’s their favorite place so far? Is it one of the places mentioned on the map or did they discover something new? What does your senshi’s new room look like? Is there a particular theme or color scheme it follows? Any particular decor your senshi is drawn to (or away from)? Serenity’s court will be roaming the Village to help celebrate its inauguration. Depict your senshi meeting your favorite canon senshi for the first time. Meet another senshi and share something you have in common, be it a hobby or an item! Create an SMV-style personal avatar. You can check out the admin icons for reference! For this Quest only, you may use art of your character created prior to the group. (You can either submit your icons to the group or change your icon. You don't need to do both; instead we will be checking for SMV avatars on July 25th. You’re welcome to change your avatar afterwards, though we’d love to have matching icons with you!)

As with all Events, we will only be counting Quests that clearly have effort put into them when we are calculating Crystals, so do your best! Good luck!
